HOOKSETT, N.H. (December 18, 2017)—The Center for Women & Enterprise (CWE), a nationally-known nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women in business, presented the 2017 Leadership Awards at its Annual Women Business Leaders Conference on October 20 at the Sheraton Framingham in MA. Judith Maloy, Director and CEO of Polaris Direct, accepted the award for CWE 2017 Women’s Business of the Year. This award is given to a WBENC-Certified women-owned business that has exhibited growth through innovation or strategic partnership.
“The dedication of these individuals and corporations to CWE’s mission is second to none. Each award winner has in their own way exhibited an unwavering commitment to empowering women in business—not only for yesterday’s and today’s women business leaders, but for many more to come. For that we are sincerely grateful,” stated Susan Rittscher, President and CEO of the Center for Women & Enterprise.
This year’s conference drew 300 business professionals dedicated to empowering women in business, and featured workshops and presentations led by industry experts. Featured speakers included Gillian Meek, President of Keds, and Stefania Mallett, Co-Founder and CEO of ezCater.
Today, corporations are embracing the opportunity to partner with diversity suppliers who bring real value to their organizations. “We are honored and proud to receive this recognition for CWE,” said Judith Maloy, “We remain steadfast in our ongoing commitment to helping women business owners succeed, and we continue to support the CWE and their efforts”.
